Z to A in May: Blogging Challenge with a Twist

What? Another challenge? But you never finished this one!

No, I didn't. My father had to have brain surgery and has been in the ICU for over 2 weeks now. My extra writing time has been sucked up by trips to the hospital, conversations with the doctors, and updating family and friends. I've also been dealing with things with my mother who has Alzheimer's.

April has been a long, difficult month. But I vow to finish the blog posts for the original challenge and THEN I will try to work on this one. I think I can do it.

  1. I think I need a break from challenges for a little while.

But I wish you luck and I look forward to seeing what May brings to you. I really hope it's great things because it sounds like you're due!

  2. I didn't sign up to do the A-Z, but did think I'd give the Z-A a try. And thus am here. Sorry you're having such a problme. I wish you luck. Your title interested me, sorta actually made me mad when I first read it. There's really nothing funny about Alzheimer's. My best friend has it severely. She's had it now for several years and is not yet 60. She has a care giver so her husband can go to work. She can't eat, shower or do anything for herself. She's not able even to speak. It's hideous and painful to watch.

  3. Glad you're not throwing in the towel! Do what you can, when you can. We're not going anywhere.

I’m hosting Z to A in May, but I’m blogging at: Ross County Roundup

  4. The fact that you can stare more challenges in the face after going through what you did in April is commendable! It's a pleasure to meet you post-AZ!
